Let’s listen to science and understand the ear, together.Dear Colleagues and Friends, It is a great privilege and honor to host the 62nd Edition of the Inner Ear Biology (IEB) Workshop, which will take place in Naples.
The IEB Workshop has long represented an exceptional forum for advancing our understanding of inner ear mechanisms and disorders, as well as for translating scientific discoveries into clinical applications. It provides a unique platform for scientists and clinicians to exchange insights across disciplines — including genetics, molecular biology, clinical sciences, and technological innovation — thereby opening new perspectives for the treatment of sensorineural hearing loss.
Our goal is to foster progress in Audiology and Otology by strengthening the dialogue between basic research and clinical practice. In conjunction with the Workshop, an opening-day Symposium will be dedicated to the major topic of translational medicine, “Bridging the Gap between Basic Research and the Clinic”.
