ISPSR 2026 – 39th International Symposium on Pediatric Research

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 39th International Symposium on Pediatric Surgical Research (ISPSR) which will take place in the inspiring city of Venice, Italy from 8-10 October 2026.

Venice, the timeless “Queen of the Adriatic,” is a city where beauty, culture, and scientific inquiry have converged for over a millennium. Built on more than 100 islands and connected by elegant bridges and canals, Venice became a meeting point of peoples, ideas, and innovation between East and West. Alongside its world-famous landmarks, St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the Grand Canal, the city holds a proud legacy of early advances in public health, medical education, and hospital care during the Renaissance. Today, Venice offers an inspiring setting for learning, intellectual exchanges, and collaboration.

For nearly four decades, the International Symposium on Paediatric Surgical Research has become a global research forum for young investigators in our speciality to present high quality basic and clinical research. As in previous years, the first day of the ISPSR 2026 will be devoted to Keynote lectures on Recent Advances and Emerging Trends in Pediatric Surgery, delivered by internationally recognised experts, and the following two days to basic and clinical research  in our field.

We are confident that ISPSR 2026 will provide not only an outstanding scientific program but also an opportunity to strengthen collaborations and networking, initiate new research partnerships, and reaffirm our shared commitment to improving surgical care for children across the globe.
